Rummy’s Beach Club, LLC, was inspired by Rummy, a blind Siberian Husky, who wandered the streets of Houston, Texas in 2006, starving and severely neglected; now he has his own business, a warm water dog swimming facility in Spring, Texas. Click here to read about Rummy’s journey.

Rummy is on the Best Friends Web Site!

Rummy is honored to be on 3 different pages of the Best Friends Web Site: Best Friends Next Generation Kids, Juniors, and Teens. Located in beautiful Kanab, Utah, Best Friends is the largest no kill Animal Sanctuary in the world. 22 of Michael Vick’s Pit Bulls went to Best Friends and all but one were successfully rehabilitated and adopted. These dogs had been fought in dog fights, forcibly bred, left alone in cages, labeled dog aggressive and people aggressive. John Garcia has worked at Best Friends over 10 years and is the star of DogTown, a show about Best Friends on the National Geographic Channel. Lisa
