A Few Things:

    Class sizes are limited, first paid, first served!

    Need a Room? Rummy’s rooms are available if you are taking one of our classes. Our rooms have king or queen size beds with water proof mattress pads (in case your dog has an accident), TV with all cable & movie channels, WI-FI, ceiling fans, monitored security alarm and one acre of land completely surrounded by a an 8 foot chain link fence in cement. You have access to 1 bathrooms upstairs, 1 half bath downstairs, beverage refrigerator and snacks in the kitchen. No meals are served, but there are several restaurants nearby and a few that deliver. Rooms are $100 a night for 1-2 people and 1-2 dogs.

Class Instructors

    Casey Farris teaches Dog CPR, First Aid, Safety & Emergencies. Casey, founder of Go Dog USA Academy, is one of the few people in Texas certified to teach Pet First Aid & CPR. She is also a Pet Sitter and founder of Bone Voyage Pet Sitting Services.

    Terrie Irvin teaches Tellington Touch (T Touch). T Touch for dogs is based on cooperation & respect, offers a positive approach to training, can improve performance and well-being in the dog and presents solutions to common behavioral problems. Discover kind and effective ways to influence barking, chewing, leash pulling, fear & shyness, separation anxiety, aging issues, recovery from injury or surgery and more.

    Terrie has worked with the human body for years and in addition to being a Certified Canine T Touch Practitioner is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, a Sports Massage Specialist and does Pain & Injury Management.

    Kim Shotola, founder of The Lightfoot Way, is a holistic animal care instructor and consultant, Reiki master, certified canine and equine massage practitioner, has worked at the Houston Zoo for 20 years and studied animal communication, herbs, aromatherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and intuitive angel guide. Kim believes animals are windows to our souls and doorways to our spiritual destinies.

    Kim teaches Reiki I, II & III/Master (Energy Work), Basic & Advanced Animal Communication, Nutrition & Kinesiology (Muscle Testing), Aromatherapy, Canine Massage, Homeopathy & Intro to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Flower Essences and Crystal & Color Therapy.
